About Scott Robarge

Scott RobargeA recruiter and avid outdoors and sports enthusiast, Scott Robarge founded the recruiting consultancy firm Another8. He locates talented candidates for technology positions in the San Francisco Bay Area. Scott Robarge primarily recruits talent funded by top-tier venture capital companies. He recruits candidates with a broad range of experience. Scott Robarge has recruited for many positions, including sales, engineering, product management, marketing, professional services, operations and finance.

With hundreds of successful hires, Scott Robarge successfully transitions across business units. In duties related to a variety of recruiting and management roles, he has performed such functions as managing the complete recruiting process for research and development, quality assurance, global services, and marketing. Throughout his career, he has established partnerships with management to devise interview and hiring strategies.

For more than 15 years, Scott Robarge has assisted venture capital firm-backed startups, as well as public companies, to achieve their recruitment objectives. From 2011 to 2012, he served as a Senior Talent Consultant with the venture capital firm Greylock Partners. In this role, he helped portfolio companies to locate the talent necessary to achieve their goals. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant with SlideRocket, Rypple, and Merced Systems.

Prior to those roles, he held a variety of recruitment positions with Salesforce.com. Before Salesforce, he founded Alpine Recruiting. Prior to his tenure at Alpine Recruiting, Mr. Robarge focused on the field of recruitment as a manager and senior recruiter at McCoy Limited, Inc. At McCoy, he held numerous duties that included managing a team of six recruiters and performing recruiting functions for IT personnel.

Away from his professional responsibilities, Scott Robarge appreciates experiencing life in cities ranging from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe and Boulder, Colorado. Drawn to areas that offer outdoor activities, he enjoys running, cycling, snowboarding, and water skiing. In keeping with his enjoyment of all things outdoors, he’s very active in his yard and garden.
